FINDING MY PATH

Introduction To This Audiobook

#1 - A gradual Wake up

gradual.PNG

The first 22 years of my life were supposed to equip me for what’s to come.

They didn’t.

But eventually I started to figure things out for myself.

2 years after figuring it out, things started to click a bit.

3 years after it was clicking, I realized I had to pass on the learnings to people that would resonate with it.

Because whatever I learned was nothing new.

They’re just teachings by countless other people that were trying to pass it down themselves.

So I wanted to firstly share a bit of my own process and challenges:

  • First, I sorted out my Physical, Mental and Spiritual Health.

  • Next, I started to scratch the surface of my Consciousness through many different practices.

  • Then I found Hobbies and Communities that I loved, and I started to teach more.

  • I continuously challenged my comfort zone almost everyday.

  • And I found the Work and the Creative outlets that inspired me the most.

All within 5 years,

where I didn’t know what I was doing most of the time.

#2 - Life after self-awareness

This was my flashlight throughout the entire journey.

We’re living in an era where all of the information we need is available to us, but there’s even more noise and distractions.

Only recently,

I realized that the main thing blocking me from absorbing the right information and applying action, was self-awareness.

I never tried to actively learn it, but it developed from all of the trial and error I went through.

If I was able to start developing it sooner, it would have saved me years.

I increased my self-awareness by developing:

(1) Mindfulness, and

(2) Reflecting often

#3 - KEy Life skills

Along with Self-Awareness,

Health (Mental/Physical/Spiritual)

&

Emotional Intelligence

Have been the most important life skills I developed so far.

We’re all trying to figure out Health.

It’s really hard.

It’s a holistic effort in multiple areas.

It will never be perfect.

But I could always try to improve it.

Self-Awareness was Step 1

Health was Step 2

Only then was I able to begin developing my Emotional Intelligence

#4 - BECOMING antifragile

Challenge = Opportunities

IMG_20200117_113946.jpg

An equation I learned after overcoming my biggest challenges:

Challenge = Opportunity

After that, I tried to apply it as often as I could to anything I was faced with.

I didn’t know how to explain that whole process, until I came across the term Antifragility.

Without realizing it, I was developing this trait while I was trying to navigate the biggest challenges I was faced with.

And because everyone goes through their own challenges, I had to attempt explaining how to develop this.

#5 - GROWTH MINDSET

Then I became addicted to Growth.

I wanted to grow as fast as I could.

These are 3 things that helped me do the process as fast and intelligently as possible.

Growth is all about the

Environment & Ecosystem

I develop for myself,

and how I maintain it

#6 - Genuine networking

More connections & Deeper Relationships

This is hard because it involves social skills, vulnerability, managing ego etc.

but it’s one the most important things in the world

Everything else I mentioned before, can be learned alone.

But connection and relationship involves other people.

I had to figure this out from scratch, and these are the 4 most important things I learned.

  • #1 is covered from Chapters 1 - 3. It takes time and patience

  • #2 is just about small steps to give your brain proof of how easy it is to ask, and how many opportunities it can open up

  • #3 is just about listening. Trying to actually listen changed my conversations forever

  • #4 is all up to you. The more I did, the quicker I learned (up to a certain point of course)

#7 - Finding Purpose & Community

Everyone’s PURPOSE & tribe is out there

We just need to find them.

I just had to start doing things I like, and reflecting a bit.

That was most of it.

Inside, I share an activity that helped me discover both.

#8 - MANAGING EGO & BALANCE

Balance.PNG

I’ll be figuring this out for the rest of my life.

This is the little bit that I’ve discovered so far:

1) If I’m aware of my Ego, then it can be a good friend.

2) Balance is a lifelong journey, and it will never be perfect.
