Then,
Stop absorbing so much content, and just do stuff.
Then reflect.
And do more things, more aligned things
Every type of profession, every art form, has the ability to help others, and make the world a better place.
Find the things most aligned to you.
Reflect on it, meditate on it, and try things out to discover what this is for you.
And your community is out there, you just need to actively find them.
The best way is to follow your interests, start taking action, learn from your mistakes, reflect along the way, meet people doing similar things, and along the way, learn how to be yourself and express it.
Because when you are fully yourself, you become a magnet to attract the right people in your life.

The textbook definition of purpose, is “the reason for which something is done, or for which something exists”
So in the context of my life, purpose can be thought of as the reason for existing.
The reason for existing!...
And billions of people are going about their days, grinding, and stressing about their purpose once in a while.
I was too, on and off, for the first 25 years or so.
While I’m not some qualified life coach with a PhD in Purpose, I can definitely share my experience with finding it.
And the interesting thing, is that I still don’t know what it is exactly.
But, I know that it’s becoming more clear by the day, because I’m constantly taking those steps to find it.
Purpose is a Journey.
This journey is different for every human out there.
And it takes a lot of trial and error to find what it may be.
For me, purpose is a lifelong process, of doing things that I love, and doing things that are good for me.
The rest I’m figuring out along the way.
I was very intentional about the order of these chapters.
The first 5 were on developing the individual,
the previous one was on genuine connections with other people,
and now this one will take all of that, and use it to find purpose and community.
Because people are best capable of finding their purpose, when they have their own foundation set, and are striving down a path of constant self-growth.
And community is deeply tied to purpose.
It helps you identify what your purpose is, and it provides a sense of fulfillment with it.
Whether it’s a community of the 2 family members closest to you, or an entire niche market consisting of thousands of people that need to hear what you have to say.
Ultimately, human beings need each other to grow and find happiness.
So everyone has their tribe.
They are out there.
You just need to find them.
People that have a similar purpose as you, that think like you, that act like you, that love the same things that you love.
People, that need YOU, to follow YOUR purpose, because they may need your help.
Life has always been like that.
It’s a cycle.
I’m sharing this right now, only... because of the influence of other people.
This includes my parents, my friends, my mentors, creators that don’t know I exist,
Creators that faced mountains of challenges and uncertainty,
to physically manifest their purpose on the earth,
in the form of books, movies, music, art, motivational speeches, whatever, t
here have been so many people that I’ve absorbed knowledge and inspiration from.
And those people, absorbed knowledge and inspiration from hundreds of others!.
I am a walking, evolving blend of all of that content.
Their teachings and their energy, are now infused in me forever, and I’ve grown tremendously as a result.
It’s so hard to explain what I mean by that.
But I would be a slightly different person if I didn’t read one of the books I’ve read, if I didn’t meet one of the people I’ve met.
So basically, the person I am today, has been influenced by thousands of people most of which I don't know
So think about this for a second.
Every one of those pieces of content that inspired me, were at some point, just an idea in someone’s mind.
Think about your favorite film …..
It was just an idea in one person’s mind, it was eventually put down on paper.
The first action step was taken.
And now think about how much work happened after that, to eventually create the final, edited version of that movie...
That’s the final version that we all see.
But we don’t get the insight, we don’t get to witness the remarkable process of how it came to be.
The pain, the discomfort, the unknown, the love.
If those individuals DIDN’T push through those challenges, then I would be a different person.
But they did, thank god they did.
They pushed through all of those challenges, and now their creations are physically made in this world, forever. It’s part of their legacy.
And for them it all started with finding what is most interesting to them.
That’s it.
Finding what they love doing the most.
So now, think about this for another second.
How many beautiful films, books, pieces of art, impactful businesses, are just sitting in someone’s mind, forever?
That don’t get the privilege of going through this process of challenges to bring it to reality?
With the learnings of the first 6 chapters, I developed the ability to create.
To write an idea or a goal, on paper, and watch it manifest in my life.
To bring form to the formless, and trust my intuition along the entire way.
And how I started this process, was simply writing things down on paper, and following my interests.
That’s it.
That’s how anyone can start.
There is no end goal along this journey, there’s only a process that is enjoyable at every single stage of it.
The excitement of starting a new journey, the learnings from uncertainty and failure, the incredible highs, doing things that you didn’t think were possible.
And over and over again.
Now I have the privilege of following what I know my interests are right now, and what I think my purpose is for this period of my life.
And I’m giving this infused energy back to other people.
And the cycle of life repeats once again.
Creations and culture have just been a series of individuals, a series of generations, creating their purpose in the present moment, for the future generations.
To move humanity one step forward.
Now, it’s our generation's turn.
We have their weight on our shoulders.
We have their creations available at our fingertips to learn from.
And unfortunately most of us fall prey to the distractions and noise instead.
But it’s time to wake the fuck up.
It’s time to be aware, to block distractions, and take positive action.
To be grateful for what we have, to improve our lives, to improve the lives of those around us , and make this world a bit better.
Now, I understand that everything I just said, will be comprehended by people at a different level.
Some may resonate with it, and others might find it a bit abstract.
So while all of this information is great, I’m next going to explain what to do about it now, and HOW I actually started to discover my passions, purpose and community.
I grew up in a very conservative household, I was only taught the perspective of my family’s religion, I attended university, and after completing it, I was expected to find a job and tackle the real world.
In 22 years, all of those years were intended to help me take on the real world.
But what actually happens?
People spend decades in jobs they don’t love, people don’t know basic life skills because they aren’t taught in school, we are drilled things by our families and our religion, who were drilled the same things from their families.
And none of that is bad.
But it is very limiting.
It’s literally putting people in a box, of certain mindsets, and beliefs.
And when people are limited like that, their potential is limited, and stress develops.
Then we get into the distractions, the alcohol, drugs, social media, porn, the busyness of life.
And we get old, we live with regrets forever.
It’s so depressing.
So for the first, what, 20, 30 years of your life.
Most people don’t know themselves.
They may have little nuggets of information, but it’s in all in a sea, a deep ocean, of NOISE.
And most of the world haven’t learned how to filter out the noise yet.
This is why I learned how to meditate, why I write, why I zoom out on occasion and look at things with a greater perspective.
This is why I gave myself as many new experiences as possible,
This is why I seek mentorship from the right people, geniuses, creatives, spiritual people, logical people, everyone.
I take their knowledge with an open mind, and with a different grain of salt each time.
There are millions of books, podcasts, influencers out there, but it’s very important to find the right ones for you, just a couple, and listen to them.
Now back to it, where do you actually start?
People online and people around you can tell you many things, but this is YOUR purpose, and the only person that can discover it is YOU.
So I’m going to share an exercise to help discover this for yourself.
>>>Open up your calendar, and book yourself a 30 minute time slot, sometime today or tomorrow, and bring a pen and paper with you.
But of course, the best time is right now, when you’re already listening to this and most inspired.
Because it is important to develop the habit of doing things immediately, without procrastination.
So when you’re ready:
Step One
Spend a couple minutes to write down your interests, all of them, on a piece of paper, and space them out.
Next, write down how you can explore them in a deeper way, and how you can find a community with those similar interests.
For example, do you like Yoga?
Are you actually practicing it as often as you want to? Why or Why not?
Then write down how often you want to practice it, hold yourself accountable, and if you don’t, then reflect again on why and why not? Give it another go.
Are you reflecting on your experiences to grow within your practice?
Maybe you can journal about your experience afterwards, maybe you can talk to a friend who likes it, maybe you can join some online forum to discuss it with other people?
Do you have 1-3 teachers that inspire you, that you learn from, and ask questions to grow?
If not, find them! There are thousands online?
And keep in mind, that these are human beings, that are going through the same process of discovering their passions and their purpose, and they need people like you to talk to them and help each other grow.
Do you have an actual community?
Whether its an actual studio you go to, and youtube community, a facebook group.
Do you actually engage with them?
So write down all of these questions, and get creative for each interest.
Step Two
Now put this all on a Google Doc, to give it structure, and easy access.
Take your 5 biggest interests, have a separate page for each one
First, write down what you love about each interest.
This is so important, because it helps you understand your passions on a deeper level. The more time you spend on this, the more deeper the love gets. And when you’re feeling demotivated, which will happen many times, then you can come back to these notes.
Passion is something you build, and this is a way to build it.
Next, write down everything you wrote in a structured way.
Your steps on how you can explore it deeper, and turn it into an action plan that is sustainable.
Put down the relevant online links, to those groups, influencers etc..
Put down how many times you want to do certain activities or action items
And lastly, some goals that you can achieve every day, week, month.
Step Three
Then just do them.
Explore.
Reflect.
And do this exercise again somewhere down the line.
Because with all of these new experiences, you will learn more about yourself.
That is what this is all about.
I only started to discover my purpose when I followed my interests, then I discovered my passions, and everything took off from there.
It’s just better to do this in a structured way, where you record feedback along the process.
So stop consuming so much content, stop listening to stuff like this.
Just do stuff, and reflect.
If you reflect regularly, you will learn quicker.
So reflect on paper, reflect on Google docs, talk to certain people.
People that you can trust, make audio recordings and talk to yourself
Fuck it, it's not weird.
Who else in this entire world can you be more open and honest with then yourself?
Something magical happens when you have those self conversations because it makes your brain process things in a different way
And during this entire process, the only thing you really need is your Intuition.
I spoke earlier about developing self awareness through a mindful activity, and an introspective activity.
And how this develops your intuition as well.
And god damn you NEED intuition throughout this process.
Life becomes so much easier when you just follow your gut.
At times, when I don’t know what to do and where to go, I slow down, I tune in to myself, and I listen to my intuition.
Then I trust it, and even if it doesn’t work out, I learn from my mistakes.
That’s all that any human being can do.
So block the noise, identify your distractions, and get rid of them slowly over time.
So at the end of it all,
The more time you spend to plan,
the more actions you take,
the more you reflect,
the more you give into these exercises,
the quicker you will discover your passions, your purpose, and your community.
With whatever you’re currently doing or want to do.
Every type of profession, every art form, has the ability to help others, and make the world a better place.
But it’s everyone’s responsibility to do the one that they are naturally suited for, the one they love the most.
We are billions of people, and we are all different.
Listen to those around you and take in the information, but ultimately decide this for yourself.
Reflect on it, meditate on it, and try things out to discover what this is for you.
And when you do this, the most beautiful thing happens.
Regardless of what you do, as long as you’re taking action and risks, you explore yourself at a deeper level and you always grow from that.
And your community is out there, you just need to find them. To actively find them.
The best way is to follow your interests,
start taking action in the process of discovering your purpose,
learn from your mistakes,
reflect along the way,
meet people doing similar things,
and most importantly, to learn how to be yourself. And express it.
Because when you are fully yourself, you become a magnet to attract the right people in your life.
